“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28
Lord, the world weighs on me like stone.
The news, the suffering, the chaos—
it all presses in until I can hardly breathe.
I see pain and wonder,
“Where are You in all of this?”
I know You are here,
but my heart grows tired.
I ache for Your justice,
for the day when You will wipe every tear
and set all things right.
Until that day,
teach me to carry what I can
and surrender what I cannot.
Teach me to be a light
when darkness tries to smother hope.
Give me courage to trust
that You are still working,
even when I cannot see it.
And remind me, Lord,
that Your love will always outshine the world’s shadow.
