“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9
Lord, I am tired.
Every bone aches, every thought feels heavy.
I try to push forward,
but my body and spirit feel worn thin.
I do not have the strength
to fight another day alone.
You say Your strength is made perfect in weakness,
so here I am, weak and broken.
I don’t need more power of my own—
I need You to carry me.
Be my breath when I have none,
be my legs when I cannot stand.
Teach me to rest in You,
even as the storms rage.
Remind me that I don’t have to do this
on my own strength.
You are my refuge, my sustainer,
and my peace.
