“I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.”
— Joel 2:25
Lord, I look at the years behind me
and see a road littered with regrets.
I see wasted time,
choices I would give anything to undo.
And I wonder—
how can You still use me?
I am not young, I am not strong,
and the best of my life feels spent.
What can I offer You now
but the broken pieces of my story?
Is it too late for me, Lord?
But I remember Your mercy.
You choose the weak to shame the strong.
You restore what was lost
and make beauty out of ashes.
Even now,
You are not finished with me.
Take what I have left, Lord.
Take these years, these hands, this heart.
Make something of them.
Even if I feel too late,
I know You are never late.
