📜When God Feels Silent: Modern Day Psalm

“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
— Exodus 14:14

O Lord, I call out, but the heavens feel locked.
I cry, and my voice echoes back to me.
Have You turned away?
Have I worn out Your patience?

I see no signs, no answers, no doors.
I ask for light, but walk in shadows.
My prayers stack like stones,
and I wonder if they will ever be heard.

Yet I know You are there, even in the silence.
You do not turn Your face away forever.
Your love does not vanish
because I do not see Your hand move.

Teach me to trust the stillness.
Teach me to believe when I cannot feel.
And if I must walk this valley,
let me know You walk beside me.
